EDUCATIONAL STATEMENT

I am a passionate educator with over 15 years of experience, committed to using education as a tool for liberation, healing, and transformation. My approach is grounded in the belief that education must serve the whole child—their intellectual, emotional, cultural, and psychological well-being—and that it must extend beyond the classroom to uplift families and communities.

  • Though I began my career as a classroom teacher, my journey has evolved into education consulting, where I support educators—particularly in grades K-2—in developing responsive, inclusive, and empowering practices. I specialize in Math and Literacy curriculum implementation and adaptation for children with special needs, and I center my work in frameworks such as Social Emotional Learning (SEL), Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), Restorative Practices, and Culturally Responsive and Sustaining Education (CR-SE).

    My work is fueled by a deep commitment to decolonizing educational systems and connecting educators across the African Diaspora in collective service of justice and liberation. I believe that when we teach with intention, cultural pride, and a sense of community care, we not only educate—we heal, we empower, and we transform.

CONSULTING SERVICES

I offer consulting that is generally focused on equity, education, restorative practices, and data analysis. I have been able to design workshops, trainings, and scopes of professional development.

  • I partner with organizations to assess current equity practices and co-create strategic frameworks that embed justice and belonging into every layer of operations. Through equity audits, visioning sessions, and data-informed action plans, I help teams bridge values with measurable outcomes.

  • I provide individualized and group coaching that helps leaders integrate equity into their decision-making, communication, and organizational culture. My coaching is grounded in reflective practice, accountability, and healing-centered leadership.

  • I design and lead custom programs and workshops that engage participants in transformational learning. My facilitation centers human connection, inquiry, and community wisdom to ensure lasting impact.

  • I craft and adapt curricula that reflect culturally responsive and trauma-informed principles. My focus is on content that advances equity and supports learners’ intellectual and emotional growth.

  • I help organizations align their mission, systems, and internal culture with their stated equity commitments. This includes facilitating team retreats, developing shared language frameworks, and supporting change management.
